Salt Projects was proud to deliver this full reclad and rebuild in Castor Bay, perched in one of the North Shore’s most tightly held coastal pockets. Designed to take full advantage of the elevated site, this home enjoys panoramic sea views stretching across the Hauraki Gulf — making it a standout build both architecturally and in terms of location.

We worked closely with the client to retain the original footprint while upgrading every element of the structure — from new cladding and joinery to updated internal layouts and finishes. Large sliding doors open out to generous decking areas, creating a seamless indoor-outdoor connection and capturing all-day sun.

This home was rebuilt to modern standards with a full weathertightness solution, new roofing, and upgraded insulation throughout. The light-filled interior is finished with clean, coastal-inspired tones, engineered timber flooring, and custom joinery to elevate everyday living.
