Salt Projects was proud to deliver this high-end rebuild in Glendowie, transforming an outdated dwelling into a bold and modern family home tailored for premium coastal living in Auckland. Rebuilt entirely from the slab up, this architectural home takes full advantage of its position — with unobstructed views over the water and neighbouring reserve, complemented by a private walkway that connects directly to the park below.

The home features a striking combination of natural cedar cladding and clean, modern lines, with thermally broken aluminium joinery throughout to ensure long-term comfort and performance. Inside, the design is centred around open-plan living, with generous glazing flooding the home with natural light while maintaining privacy and flow.

The roof design was complex, with multiple junctions and levels, requiring careful coordination and precision across all trades. Outside, the new driveway and landscaped outdoor area complete the home, offering functional outdoor living to match the architectural impact of the structure.

Our team managed the full project from demolition through to final detailing, ensuring every stage was delivered to the highest standard. The result is a warm, low-maintenance, coastal home that perfectly blends lifestyle, design, and location.
